The modal yarn produced by our company adopts the modal fiber produced by Lenzing Austria, which has higher strength, significantly improved wet strength, and better softness, luster and other taking properties of the yarn. Modal clothes are mostly used in the production of underwear because of its inherent good softness and excellent moisture absorption, but its fabric stiffness is poor. Modal knitted fabrics are mainly used for making underwear. However, modal has a silvery white luster, excellent dyeability and bright color after dyeing, enough to make it become the outerwear used only. Because of this, modal is becoming an increasingly popular material for outerwear and decorative fabrics. In order to improve the shortcomings of pure modal products, modal can be blended with other fibers to improve its performance; for example: M/C50/50 can make up for this shortcoming. Modal can also be woven in the weaving of woven fabrics, and can also be interwoven with other fiber yarns, so as to weave a variety of fabrics. Fabrics made from Lenzing modal exhibit a silky sheen, which when blended with cotton produces a sheen similar to that of mercerization, with a pleasantly soft touch and drape and excellent wearability.
It has the advantages of silk-like luster and drape, extreme softness, excellent dyeability and vivid color, and remains colorful after many washes. Modal products have a broad development prospect in modern clothing and apparel.
